Burrard Clean Operations (BCO) must demonstrate to Transport Canada that it is prepared to respond to a spill under various circumstances. As a response organization, this certification is required every three years under the Canada Shipping Act. In order to continually meet requirements, BCO holds a number of both field exercises and spill response training courses within each certification period. |
